These images are selected from digicam photos I took during an Elderhostel tour, "Flavors of Spain", from March 26- April 7, 2001. This tour focused on the food and wine that is typical in Madrid, Castilla y Leon and La Rioja regions. Information about tours run by Elderhostel, Inc. can be found at their website.
Please scroll down and click on any thumbnail (small image) to see a larger version, which will open in a separate window. Because of file-compression and monitor-size requirements, the displayed images are significantly reduced in quality compared to the originals. Although you are free to copy any of them, tour members who require higher-resolution files for printing certain shots should email me at pjrose@frontiernet.net The thumbnails are arrayed in chronological order (left-to-right), and the locations are indicatedÐoften with a guess Ðin the captions. All photos were made with a Nikon Coolpix 950 digicam. Most of the images were resized to a height of less than 500 pixels; a slight amount of sharpening and adjustment for contrast and brightness was also applied. |
